Install EDI Pros software from CD:

1.       Insert the CD-ROM into the optical device on your AS/400 or iSeries.

2.       Sign on as QSECOFR.

3.       At a command line, type the command LODRUN DEV(*OPT), press ENTER.

 After a brief delay, the product install screen will appear.

4.       Enter the name of the AS/400 or iSeries libraries to install the product into or leave the defaults and the software will create the new libraries for product installation.

5.       Enter the name of a user profile that will own the product objects. Note: Default values are provided for basic installation, however it is recommended the values be considered prior to continuing with the install process.

The install process may be cancelled by pressing F3.

6.       Press the F19 key (shift + F7) to begin the install process.

During the install process various prompts may appear, such as the creation of new libraries verification prompt, object ownership verification prompt and a duplicate object notification prompt.  If you receive any prompts and want to cancel the install process, press F12 from the prompt screen to restart the install. 

7.       An information message appears when the install procedure is complete.

Your software installation is now complete

To start using your EDIPro’s software:

Add the appropriate libraries to your library list by typing the following, replacing these library names with those you have chosen, if applicable:

ADDLIBLE LIB(EDPAPSYS), Press ENTER
ADDLIBLE LIB(EDPAPDB), Press ENTER
ADDLIBLE LIB(EDPAPPTF), Press ENTER
